Don't Ask, Don't Tell repealed
It's still early, but does anyone have any strong opinions on this or how it's going to play out?
I'm personally glad they're repealing it. If someone wants to serve their country, what does it matter if they're openly gay? I know someone who has served for years and remained closeted because of her involvement in the military, this is particularly freeing for her. I'm just happy she can finally be true to herself without worrying about drawing suspicion and losing her place in the service, which she loves very much.
